报告题目:Hyper-World, Big-X and Cyber-I
报告内容:
Abstract. The rapid advances in digital technologies have brought us to a new world, i.e., the Cyber World, which can be regarded as another universe to human beings. The synergy between the cyber world and the physical world has brought profound revolutionary changes due to the burst of various digital explosions, e.g., information explosion, connection explosion, service explosion, and intelligence explosion. These digital explosions are comparable with the other explosions happened in the physical world in human evolutionary process. The question now arises as how humans will evolve facing these explosions in the cyber-physical integrated hyper world? Cyber-Individual, hereon ‘Cyber-I’, is the counterpart of a Real Individual (called Real-I) in the physical world. A Cyber-I is more like a concomitant digital clone of a Real-I. It constantly captures and collects Real-I’s scattered personal pieces of information and behavioral traces left in the hyper world. Moreover, it analyzes and synthesizes the personal nature and features to approximate its Real-I’s essence. The ultimate goal of Cyber-I is to create a cyber counterpart or special digital clone for each individual and provide desired services for all people living in the hyper world.
